Job Description Summary: 

Exalt Academy is seeking a dedicated, experienced 3rd-grade teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proven classroom expertise, a deep understanding of content instruction, and a collaborative mindset to support our innovative academic model. As part of a team, the 3rd-grade Teacher will implement our research-based educational design, delivering instruction with explicit instruction across multiple formats, including Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 levels of learning.

Duties:

  • Be well prepared to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction with urgency. 
  • Attend all mandated orientations, training sessions, and professional development programs.
  • Provide high-quality instruction for the assigned grade level throughout the school year.
  • Collaborate with parents through discussions and planning to support student learning and growth.
  • Engage in school initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and the advancement of the school’s mission.
  • Carry out assigned teaching and/or managerial responsibilities. 

 

Education Requirements:

  • Appropriate Arkansas licensure is preferred, not required.
  • 1-3 Years Classroom Teaching Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Teaching certification is preferred, not required

Technical Skills:

  • Adequate in using technology in education.
  • Skilled in analyzing student data to enhance instruction and improve programs.
  • Some familiarity with instructional technology equipment, software, hardware, and networked systems is preferable.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain in a classroom or instructional setting for extended periods and regularly move throughout the classroom, school building, and campus.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move classroom materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, colleagues, and school leaders and respond appropriately to student and school needs.
  • Ability to supervise students during classroom instruction, transitions, arrival, dismissal, and other assigned activities.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
